Soil Events

Free webinar "COP28: Amplifying Soil Health in the Climate Conversation" on December 12, 2023, at 10 AM (EST). This virtual event features a lineup of speakers, including Dr. Alberto Acedo and Joy Youwakim and Dr. Leigh Winowiecki from Coalition Alliance for Soil Health (CA4SH), who will provide insights into the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) and World Soil Day. Dr. Jacob Parnell from the FAO will shed light on the critical role of soil biodiversity in agriculture and climate change mitigation, demonstrating how soil health data is revolutionizing the industry. Dr. Linsey Haram, representing AIM for Climate, will discuss the organization's vision for climate-smart agriculture. The event will also include an interactive panel discussion


Organised by the Norwegian Bioart Arena NOBA, a Soil Symposium “Sensing Place: Decentralising Knowledges, Making Soil Futures” will take place on 16th November in Oslo. The series is directing attention to a variety of perspectives on living soil through imaginative interdisciplinary interactions
